Important Child Safety Recall!

Important Child Safety Recall!

Ask almost anyone to name a baby brand and we bet Fisher-Price will be one of the first to come to mind. They're popular, no doubt. Unfortunately, they've had to voluntarily recall approximately 65,000 of their Soothing Motion Seats because of risk of a fire hazard.

While NO injuries have been reported from the motorized infant seat, the Consumer Product Safety Commission has received 3 dozen reports of the seats overheating and one report of a fire contained in the motor housing. Definitely scary stuff! These seats were sold at Walmart, Target, Amazon, and other retailers starting in November 2015 and going to this month, with about 63,000 sold in the U.S.

How to know if what you're using is one of the recalled products? The recall cover seats will have one of these model numbers on them: CMR35, CMR36, CMR37, DYH22 and CMR39. If you find you DO have one, immediately stop using the product! Then contact Fisher-Price for a full refund at 800-432-5437 or online at www.service.mattel.com.

Nothing is more important to us than our kids' safety and we know the same goes for you guys. If you have a Soothing Motion Seat, be sure to check the cover seat to see if yours is good to go and remember to keep an eye out on product recalls in general! Stay safe out there!
